My 5 favs and Mothers day

Well naturally this week I can't go past my own kids once again for my 5 favs. They are the cause of me celebratig Mothers day.
So thank you to Kirsty, Danny, Clarey, AJ, and Kimmy..you really are an amazing group of pople. I look at each one of you and can not believe how blessed Alan and I have been to have you as our children. We feel so privileged. So honoured to be able to say 'ye they are my children'All of you have grown into adults that we are proud of. Each one of you have unique gifts, talents and attributes.
When I was little, all I wanted was to be a MUM. I really got that wish!!! However I never knew how hard it could be. How your life becomes a part of each of your children. How when they are hurting, you hurt, when they are sad you are sad, when they are sick you want to take that away. What really shocks me is that even today when my baby is 23, I still feel the same with each of my babies, and as each has chosen the person that they love to spend their life with my Mothers love has grown to encompass them too.
As a young Mum and struggling I could never have realised how God had his hand on us. How even though I had no idea God did!
I remember when Kisty was a baby and I was pregnant with Danny, wondeing if I could possibly love another baby as much!!! How little did I know that a Mothers love is capable of just so much.
As a Mother I feel I failed some of you in some big ways, but all I can say is I did my best. I guesss its just that being a Mum doesn't come with a manual and all you can do is try. You can not live with regrets but look at the beautiful people that you all are...

There endeth my Mothers day blog entry but thought I would share this with you..It s so true, just thought I would add it .

Things Your Mother Wouldn't Say
"Be good and for your birthday I'll buy you a motorcycle!"
"How on earth can you see the TV sitting so far back?"
"Don't bother wearing a jacket--it's quite warm out."
"Let me smell that shirt--yeah, it's good for another week."
"I think a cluttered bedroom is a sign of creativity."
"Yeah, I used to skip school, too."
"Just leave all the lights on...it makes the house more cheery."
"Could you turn the music up louder so I can enjoy it, too?"
"Run and bring me the scissors! Hurry!"
"Aw, just turn these undies inside out. No one will ever know."
"I don't have a tissue with me--just use your sleeve."
"Well, if Timmy's Mom says it's okay, that's good enough for me."
"Of course you should walk to school and back. What's the big deal about having to cross a few main streets?"
"My meeting won't be over till later tonight. You kids don't mind if we skip dinner?
